多様な素材や方法論を用いながら、主にコラージュによる平面・立体を中心としたインスタレーションを発表。「山」を対象に、登山を実践することで獲得するリアルな身体経験や記憶、登山用具や山岳史といったアウトドアカルチャーを積極的に取り入れた表現を試みる。「遠い」「近い」といった距離感覚・時間・スケールの混ぜ合わせで生まれるズレや歪みを起点として、測り直しによる現在位置の再認識を促す。

Using a variety of materials and methodologies, I create installations centered primarily on two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, with a focus on collage. Taking “mountains” as my subject, I actively incorporate real physical experiences and memories gained through actual mountaineering, as well as elements of outdoor culture such as mountaineering gear and the history of mountaineering, into my work. By exploring the discrepancies and distortions that arise from the interplay of concepts such as “far” and “near”—along with distance, time, and scale—I aim to prompt viewers to reassess their current position through a process of re-measurement.
